As I Am Due To Have Hand Surgery Very Soon (And I'm Feeling Sorry For Myself) I Thought I Would Cheer Myself Up By Treating Myself To Lots Of New Lip Goodies So
In Today's Post I'm Going To Share Some Of My Latest Purchases That Arrived Today!
I Have Tried These Brands Fleetingly In The Past And Decided To Give Some Of Their Other Products A Whirl.
I Got A Few Trifle Cosmetics Sugar Pear Lip Scrubs
(Winter Is Not My Lips' Friend At All!)
And I Love The Nourishment You Get From A Scrub.
I Really Like That This Brand Is Cruelty Free And This Scrub Is Made In Italy. The Packing Is Super Cute And It's A 10ml Size So Perfect For Travelling!
I Also Picked Up Some Pixi By Petra Products To Try. I Got The White Pearl Glow Booster, A Blush & Shea Butter Lip Balm (Which I Gave To My Mother As I Felt The Shade Was Too Dark For Me) And A LipLift Max Lipgloss In The Shade Honey Sheen (Swatched Below) I Like The Applicator On This Gloss It's A Nice Fluffy Doe-Foot Applicator.
To Me This Gloss Smells Like A Mixture Of Menthol & Herbal Which I Don't Mind. It Cools Your Lips Upon Contact And This Is A Particularly Pretty Shade! It Looks Peachy-Pink in The Tube And Goes On Sheer With A Hint Of Sparkle.
I Also Did Feel It Plumped My Lips A Little Bit, Too.

I'll Admit I'm Terrible At Actual Skin Care Items!
My Skin Is Extremely Sensitive And If I Continuously Load It With Creams No Matter How Light, I Always End Up With A Ton Of Breakouts. For The Most Part I Use Coconut Oil To Combat My Dry Skin. Since My Beloved & Now Discontinued Gatineau Floracil Liquid Has Almost Ran Out I Thought I Would Try The Pixi Rose Tonic Rose & Elderflower Nourishing Toner. I Also Picked Up A Pack Of The Makeup Melting Cleansing Cloths To Try, Too! My Favourite Face Wipes To Use Are The Johnson's Moisturising Or Refreshing Wipes That I Religiously Pick Up From The Supermarket. Although These Were A Bit Of A Splurge At £10 Per Pack
I Have To Say The Packaging Looks & Feels Very Luxurious - And It's My Favourite Colour! Win-Win And You Also Get 40 Wipes Instead Of My Usual 25
Edit: I Have Now Tried Both The Pixi Makeup Melting Cloths & The Rose Tonic. The Wipes Smell Lovely! A Slight Hint Of Grape (As Mentioned In The Ingredients List) And They Are Very Soft & Don't Drag On The Skin At All. They Are Also A Slightly Larger Size Than My Usual Johnson's Wipes. The Only Thing I Will Say Is They Aren't As Moist.
The Toner Also Smells Amazing Like Botanical Rose! It Cooled My Skin Upon Application. Although I Initially Thought It Left A Film On My Skin It Has Since Sunk In. It Has Treated The Dry Skin On My Chin Area Nicely. I Really Like This Travel Size 100ml And I Will Get A Fair Few Uses Out Of This! I Will Definitely Repurchase This Tonic.
Today So Far I Have Tried Out The Trifle Lip Scrub Which Was Very Moisturising! The Sugar Is Nice And Chunky & Dissolves Into The Lips. The Smell Is Very Pleasant And It Leaves Behind A Thin Veil Of Moisture. As I Said Previously It's 10ml So The Perfect Size For Travelling With!
After I Had Done This I Couldn't Wait! I HAD To Dig In To The Pixi LipLift Max Gloss! I Love The Sleek Packaging On This Gloss And The Applicator Is Delightful! It Plumped My Lips Slightly And Smells Lovely! It's Such A Pretty Peachy-Pink Shade And I Have Since Gone Back And Purchased 2 Different Shades In The Full Size!
